36 posts, 36 days — how fun!

I just realized I have written 36 posts in my first 36 days of blogging. I would honestly have to say my life has changed dramatically in that time because my writings have changed me, my husband, my family, and readers who don’t even know me.
The blog has changed me because my thoughts from so much reading and research over the past few years have finally coalesced into something I can give back out. I find it very freeing to express myself without censure. It is also freeing to be able to write about care-taking my mom. Having come from a family background where it was deemed better to do than be, I have enjoyed opening the jail house door and running out into the long warm days of summer.
The blog has put into writing many ideas my husband and I have been discussing over the years as we talk of life, God, relationship, and family, but having it summed up in a matter of paragraphs enables him to understand and act on it even more powerfully. He once said to me, “In our relationship you light the path, and I lead the way.” He meant my absorption of researched knowledge offers us insight, but we both know he is the one who has the better ability to step out on faith and act on it instead of think about it.
My family has been very supportive of my blog, too. As one aunt in Texas wrote to me in an email, “Wow, cannot tell you how much SpaceAgeSage is helpful to me. I may not always agree, but it triggers so many questions and offers so many possible solutions to me never before considered … Watching your search into possibilities and life in general has been so supportive to me.”
Even people I do not know leave comments that let me know the blogging world is a place for ideas and betterment to dance from person to person. One of my first comments received came from mormonsoprano: “Very nice post. I agree completely. I have recently been disturbed by the “sharpness”, “glares” and “knots” so many members of the blogger world have gotten entangled in. It is refreshing to read a post such as this and focus on the softer side of wisdom.”
One other thing — but keep it under your hat — even my husband is thinking about writing a guest post!
Yes, blogging has been quite the enjoyable experience.
Wow! 36 posts for 36 days means you are posting once a day… great job! I love your blog because it’s more on life. I read blogs and learn from those articles and I also like to improve my grammar.
GOD Bless!
Thanks — actually not a post every day, sometimes two or three in a day and then skip a day or so.
Good for you — that’s so great. Once you get into the habit it comes quickly, but at the beginning it sometimes feels like you’re pulling teeth. Great job on the posting and on the results your blog has given you personally.
Naomi — Thanks! Fortunately, most of my posts having been bubbling to the surface for a long time, so no teeth-pulling yet.
