True to her leadership and community-building style, Liz Strauss at Successful Blog has opened the door wide to the blogging community for a “Blog Show” on her site this weekend.
Thanks to Liz and all the participants! Welcome!
The SpaceAgeSage blog is a collection of distilled and encapsulated wisdom from both ancient texts and modern self-help books, all filtered through the experiences and perspectives of a freelance writer, photographer, EMT (Emergency Medical Technician), former volunteer firefighter, 3rd degree black belt, and senior martial arts instructor who has been around awhile.
If you want to move forward, seem stuck where you are, or want more out of life and relationships, SpaceAgeSage is for you!
In response to Liz’s generous work of helping us all connect, I offer a few of my favorite posts. I’ve even included a wonderful park bench to create the mood for a little reading.
Here are a few of my favorite SpaceAgeSage posts:
Thanks to all newcomers and to my loyal readers for supporting SpaceAgeSage blog. I would love to hear your comments! Thanks.

Hi SpaceAgeSage,
I came over from making my rounds with Liz’s Blog Showcase. I was a bit weary from sorting through her 260 blogs (!) she had showcased.
I must say that even though I’m a bit weary from going thru so many blogs, I really enjoyed the articles you have written. Please keep up the great and inspiring writing!
Al —
Thanks for stopping by during the Blog Showcase. I got through a lot of the list, too. Whew!
I appreciate your lovely and positive response. It’s always nice to get feedback!
Lori, I’ve really enjoyed wandering around your blog, thanks to Liz Strauss and your visit to mine. There’s a refreshing self-honesty coupled with self-kindness that really draws me to your writing. A lot of people do the former without adequate amounts of the latter, at least in my world of conflict resolution work. The two together are very compelling! I’ll be back.
Tammy —
Why thank you! I’ve never heard my writing explained that way — very motivating. You must be brave to be in the conflict resolution business!
Hi Lori,
When I landed here (thanks to Liz Strauss & your visit to my blog) I was happy to see a few Favorite Posts to chose from. I only had time to read one and the title “Coffee Flavored Rubik’s Cube” called to me. Must have been fate that it was about your Mom’s memory challenges! We obviously share a great love, respect and appreciation for our “Golden Oldies.” I’ll be back to read more of your writings.
Linda —
I was taught to “respect my elders,” but my affinity for the wisdom of the ages and of the aged has always been a part of me. Glad you could stop by and pick a post that resonated with you! Thanks for commenting.
