Hi Davina,
Owls are amazing -- so quiet and so very much "the watchers."

Hi Lori. How gorgeous is this little guy! I have held the gaze of an owl before. I was walking on a trail in the middle of the afternoon. I "happened" to look up and there was an owl sitting up in a tree, looking down at me. I stood there for at least 15 minutes, telling everyone who passed by to look. It was surreal in a way to look into that owl's eyes.

Hi Jean,
They are fast, agile, and amazing creatures, aren't they?

Hi Marelisa,
Wow, a monkey who wanted to see what you were up to, eh? That must have been amazing.

Hi Barbara,
It is sad to see animals injured. It seems they are made so perfectly and beautifully that they shouldn't have to endure trauma, especially when they can't help themselves.
