I just watched The Bucket List. The movie makes clear that life boils down to one important thing, the one thing that will make a difference after you die - relationships. Despite the cuss words (at least they are not gratuitous), I recommend the movie.

Hi Davina,
Hopefully this year you won't have to worry about money and traveling will come to you serendipitously!

Hi Robin,
You always have an interesting look at things! Thanks for the added perspective. I guess the idea of "living like you are dying" is so those boxed in by limitations can free themselves of them for awhile -- kind of like near-death experiences do for some people. In the end, though, living in the now is better practiced as a response to life, rather than an imposed mindset.

Hi there Lori - I personally find it better to believe I have unlimited time on earth - that way I can be in touch with what my intuition is saying to do in the here and now. If I pretended I had only a few weeks or months to live, I might start doing things like traveling, or whatever, things I KNOW are not in my best interests at the moment - I would always be out of touch with myself, and therefore be always on the back foot.

Having said all that - I hope you have a great 2009!

Cheers - Robin
